Embracing Diversity - Highlights programs, resources and campus-based support groups and allies that particularly address the needs of graduate students from ethnic minorities.**

Getting Connected: Social Movements in LA - This panel is designed to articulate how grassroots organizing movements operate, the connection between their analytic framework and the work of graduate students, and the collaborative potential between these seemingly distinct worlds. **

Queer Geographies of LA - Highlights programs, advocacies, workshops, resources, social gatherings, and the important work of the LGBT community in LA.

Family and Graduate School - Addresses the specific challenges of being parent and spouse/partner as graduate students from marginalized populations; Offer ideas of how to balance between school and family life; Provide resources, program and groups that can help addressing these challenges and difficulties.

Black Lives and the University - This panel is designed to introduce students to various facets of the Black Bruin community. Through discussing the historical relationship UCLA has to Blackness, students will understand resources, networks, and opportunities to invest in the upcoming year and beyond.

Women in STEM, Media, Arts, and Start-ups - Highlights the challenges and prospects experienced by women graduate students and young professionals in these specific fields, and provide an opportunity for new graduate students to learn and build professional networks.
