Policies: You may schedule one time per week up to two weeks in advance. Please consult our policies page for more information.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no shows will be penalized. No exceptions for any reasons.
Before your appointment: you must submit an intake form (click here) and send it by email to gwc@gsa.asucla.ucla.edu the evening before your appointment. It is also your responsibility to bring a printout of your writing project to the appointment.
Meet the GWC Writing Consultants (short bios)
The Graduate Writing Center will not hold appointments on November 11th (Veteran's Day), November 25th (office furlough day), and November 26th-27th (Thanksgiving holiday).
Drop-in appointments will be available 3-6pm on Mondays, November 16th, 23rd, 30th, and December 7th. Drop-in appointments are for people who have not scheduled a regular appointment during that week, although people are permitted to schedule an appointment later in the week after attending a drop-in appointment if appointments are still available. Please be prepared to show your Bruin ID card and fill out some paperwork. People will be seen in the order that they arrive. Appointments will be limited to 20-30 minutes when others are waiting.

Having trouble scheduling an appointment? Not enough availability? Try to schedule appointments well in advance. Check back regularly because we have frequent cancellations. Also, please help us track when we don't have enough availability by sending an email to: gwc@gsa.asucla.ucla.edu with 'feedback' in the subject line and letting us know when you were unable to make an appointment.
