EDI 2020 has come to an end and all events have passed. Students will be emailed in early October with follow-up information on accessing additional materials and resources.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Week is the first week of our virtual campus-wide orientation session. The week is designed for all new graduate and professional students and focuses on issues that are particularly challenging to underrepresented students. New students will have the opportunity to learn about resources, meet other graduate students from across campus, and engage with UCLA resources in a supportive environment. The goal of the EDI week is to help new graduate students make personal connections and to promote an inclusive campus climate, personal well-being, and academic success. This year, EDI Week will include sessions designed to connect you with support systems and community based connections through virtual live panels and workshops.
The New Graduate and Professional Student Portal is web-based resource housed on UCLA's CCLE platform designed to introduce you to graduate and professional school, campus resources and services. Once you join, this CCLE portal will be available to you anytime and can be used as a reference source as you navigate your first year and all that UCLA has to offer. Enrollment key: grad

This comprehensive orientation will include information to ease your transition into graduate school, introduce you to campus services and involvement opportunities, and show you just how much UCLA has to offer. Start your graduate career at UCLA off right!

The Incoming Graduate Student and TA Resource fair is a new virtual experience designed to connect you with UCLA services and programs that support the graduate student and TA experience. ALL new graduate students and future, current, or returning TAs are welcome to attend any session. View the schedule of events and directory to connect and learn more about resources. The Resource Fair sessions are designed to be a more direct opportunity to connect with resources of interest, get your questions answered, and learn more and are a different format compared to some of the panels and workshops you may see as a part of orientation or the TA conference.
