The UCLA Graduate Student Resource Center is a Graduate Students Association initiative that is managed by Student Affairs. The GSRC is a resource, referral and information center for graduate students, offering programs and workshops on a variety of topics, drop-in advice and assistance, meeting and study space, and the opportunity for social interaction. The GSRC works with GSA to organize the Graduate Student Orientation each fall. The Graduate Student Resource Center is also the home of the new Graduate Writing Center. All graduate and professional students are welcome. We are located in B11 of the Student Activities Center (formerly the Men's Gym).
Grad Students! The UCLA Graduate Resource Center has created a group on Facebook especially for you! As you may already know, we are here as a one stop resource center that keeps you abreast of all your grad needs here at UCLA. So join the group to stay on top of events and programs that are important to you! Our group is the UCLA Graduate Student Resource Center.
Counselors from the UCLA Career Center come to the Graduate Student Resource Center for a drop-in hour JUST for graduate students, 11am-12noon, Tuesday and Thursday, to provide quick answers to graduate students about CVs/resumes, job search strategies, information sources and more. No appointment necessary! An additional grad student only hour is available from 11am-1pm on Wednesdays at the Career Center. All UCLA graduate and professional school students are also welcome to visit the Career Center office for additional drop-in hours, that are open to ALL students (both graduate and undergraduate), and to use the Career Center library and resources
The Graduate Writing Center offers free writing consultation services to all enrolled UCLA graduate and professional school students. Meet with a trained and experienced graduate student writing consultant to work on writing issues ranging from organization and style to grammar and syntax. Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Please visit the Graduate Writing Center webpage for more information about our writing consultants, scheduling an appointment, and the GWC writing workshops.
