Program: Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering

Hi, everyone! I am a rising fifth-year PhD Candidate in Environmental Engineering here at UCLA, where I also when for my Bachelors and Masters. My research involves natural and engineered biodegradation of 1,4-dioxane and chlorinated solvents using bacteria. My hobbies include trying new foods with loved ones, dance cardio, pogo-sticking, public transit, and thrifting. This is my third year as a GSO Coordinator, and I am so excited to meet everyone, new and continuing Bruins alike! :')

Fun fact: I love public transit and have been on over 100 bus + train lines across the country! :') (Shoutout to my fellow transit nerd + GSO Co-Coordinator Janak haha!)

Advice for graduate students: The UCLA community holds a corner for every identity you can think of – go out there and chat with your peers, since you never know what lived experiences you may find magical similarities in! :')
