Newsletter Posting

If you would like to post to the GSRC weekly newsletter, please email with the following information no later than Thursday of each week (Thursday submission would go out on following Monday newsletter). Note, we will only post events that are at max 2 weeks away (e.g., an event in week 7 will not be posted to the newsletter until week 5 at the earliest). A team member will review your posting to ensure it adheres to our newsletter guidelines:

  • Name of Event/Opportunity
  • Date/s
  • Sponsoring Department/Organization/s
  • Description (Brief)
  • RSVP Link (if applicable)
  • Website Link (if applicable)
  • Image of flyer in PNG or JPEG format
  • Is your organization registered through SOLE or a UCLA campus department?

The GSRC considers the following for the weekly newsletter: events and opportunities open to and for graduate and professional students hosted by UCLA departments and/or registered campus organizations (must be registered through SOLE) that fall within the following broad categories (1) community engagement; (2) health and wellness; (3) professional development; (4) financial wellness. Submitting a request does not guarantee inclusion in the newsletter. The GSRC does not post TA or GSR appointments, academic conferences, research symposium, or courses unless they are non-academic in nature (e.g., career development conference or career exploration course would be approved).*

Community Bulletin Board

The GSRC has a community bulletin board in our physical office space (SAC B-11). In order to post something, bring your flyer or small poster (no larger than 8 1/2 x 17) and leave it with the GSRC front desk staff. GSRC staff will review your material to ensure it meets our posting guidelines and will post on your behalf. *Guidelines: (1) maximum of one flyer/poster per event/opportunity; (2) flyer must be affiliated with a UCLA campus departments or registered student organization (active registration through SOLE required). Flyers will be posted for 1-week total and removed the following week. We do not allow for flyers to be left on the tables or couches for distribution. We recommend checking with SOLE for other campus flyer posting options.
